Jesse Earl Thomas is the second son and the fourth child of Sim and Fannie Thomas. He married Octavia on April 15, 1981 and had one child during this marriage – Jessica Thomas. He died on January 25, 1987 at the age of 75.

Jesse Thomas was a loving and kind man. He was also an incredibly sharp dresser. He had a penchant for exacting vocabulary with attention to grammar. Jesse was humble although he made space to enjoy the finer things in life.

Jesse and his older brother Frank, financially provided for their three younger sisters to attend and graduate from college.

Jesse was a devoted husband and father to his wife Octavia and his daughter Jessica.
