Essie Thomas Martin is our oldest living relative. She is the daughter of Fannie Fagan and Sim Thomas. She was born June 1, 1922 and married Theodule Martin, Sr April 20, 1948. They have two children Theodule “Dell” Martin and Doeveal Martin (Nightingale), two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She currently resides in Dallas, Tx with her great-neice Cora McClendon and her great-great-neice Aisha McClendon. She loves to receive mail (letters and postcards), phone calls and old pictures.
