Mary Thomas was the third child born to the union of Sims Thomas and Fannie Fagan Thomas. Mary was an amazing woman and had a strong personality. Mary had no problem calling things the way that she saw them.
She married her husband Jack Edwards and together they lived in Berkeley, CA. Mary was a crossing guard for many years. Mary loved to cook and made a mean pot of chitlings. She enjoyed spending time with her great neices.
When Aunt Mary became ill she relocated to Woodland Hills, CA where she was cared for by her neice, Doeveal Nightingale. She was survived by Jack Edwards. Mary did not have any children.
