Jerone Collins is the eldest son of Anthony and Beulah Collins. He was born in Jonesville, La a month before his oldest sister, Aquilla met her demise.

Jerone was a great dancer. He graduated saluditorian of his high school class at Jonesviille Consilidated High School. He attended Southern University and was drafted into the Vietnam War as a member of the Air Force. He served four years and returned to Southern University and graduated Honor Roll.

He married Renee and into that union one daughter was born, Crevon Natasha Collins (1976).

He relocated to Ca and worked as an Accounting Clerk and retired as an Administrator at Hughes Aircraft. Renee and Jerone divorced.

After the death of his father, Jerone returned to Louisiana to care for his mother. Jerone died preceding his mother due to a chronic medical condition.
